Arizona Humane Society - Bridge the Gap and Project Home Away From Home
Help paying a vet bill Waitlist
For owners in financial hardship, Bridge the Gap helps with pet food, vet bills, supplies, a rental pet deposit or short-term boarding after an involuntary crisis, and Project Home Away From Home gives 30-90 days of free foster care or boarding during hospitalization, domestic violence, housing loss or deployment (up to two pets).
When we checked, this program said it had a waitlist. Ask how long the wait is, and see the other options below in case you need help sooner.

Programs like this usually have rules about income, location, the kind of care covered and how much they can pay. Many pay the veterinarian directly. Read the requirements before applying, and have your estimate and proof of income ready.
If cost is the barrier, Paying for Care compares grants, payment plans and fundraising, with a checklist of what to have ready.
