Who it is for
Individual pet guardians, independent rescuers and TNR participants seeking spay/neuter assistance. Registered 501(c)(3) organizations are directed to other grant sources.
What it pays
Current official amounts are $50 for feral or stray cats and cats of low-income Los Angeles County residents, and $30 for domestic cats of non-low-income residents, dogs and rabbits. The voucher does not cover the full bill.
How to apply
First book a spay/neuter appointment with one of the participating clinics on the official program page. Then submit the voucher form at least 72 hours before surgery. Peter Zippi says it cannot issue pledges on the day of surgery.
