DJWS community guide
Music fans know things databases miss. DJWS welcomes suggestions from singers, hosts, journalists, musicians, collectors, researchers, and anyone who recognizes a connection worth preserving.
What you can contribute
What makes a useful suggestion
- Say what should be added or changed.
- Explain why it belongs when the connection is not obvious.
- Include enough detail to distinguish the correct artist, song, or album.
- Provide a reliable source when the suggestion depends on a factual claim.
- Tell us how you hoped to use the information.
Suggest an improvement
Use the suggestion form on the DJWS Blog, or email submit@mintytees.com with “DJWS Suggestion” in the subject line.
You can suggest something small. A missing album, an unexpected title connection, or one artist associated with the wrong place may be exactly the correction the catalog needs.
Contributor recognition
DJWS is working toward a clearer recognition system so useful public contributions can be credited when the contributor wants that. Until that system is ready, include the name or public identity you would want associated with your suggestion, or say that you prefer to remain anonymous.
Editorial responsibility
A suggestion may be researched, edited, combined with related information, or declined. Contribution does not transfer editorial responsibility to the person who submitted it. DJWS remains responsible for what it chooses to publish.
