Mutton, lettuce, and tomato on house bread. The mutton is lean. The tomato is ripe. The lettuce is fresh. Max will not serve it otherwise and has turned back three tomato shipments this week to prove it.

This is not a complicated sandwich. That is the point. Some things do not need to be complicated. They need to be done correctly. Max does it correctly.

Customizations:

• Bread: House only. Max does not offer substitutions. This has been asked.
• Add tomato: $0.99 (ripe. Obviously.)
• Hold the lettuce: Max will make the sandwich and then add the lettuce anyway. He feels strongly about the lettuce.
