Az Áldozat (Szodoma) is actually a theatrical soundtrack album . East was commissioned to compose the background and ballet music for a prominent stage drama written by István Sárosi. The play was performed live at the Pécs Summer Theatre in Hungary, and the band recorded their musical score to serve as the highly dramatic, atmospheric ballet accompaniment to the show's dark, biblical themes. Because it was tailor-made for a ballet production, East completely dropped vocal tracks for this project, making it a unique, entirely instrumental avant-garde rock concept piece in their history.
