For Nonprofits and Community Groups: Make Public Events Easier to Find
Nonprofits, clubs and community organizations can connect public meetings, fundraisers and events with their venues and official information in a free directory.

Jump to a section
Community organizations often rely on volunteers to spread the word. One person posts the fundraiser to Facebook, another sends a flyer, and somebody else updates the venue calendar. By the time a neighbor hears about the event, basic questions can still be unanswered: who's organizing it, when is it happening, and where should they go?
The Minty Brand Ecosystem offers a free public-information directory where a nonprofit, club, volunteer group, neighborhood organization or community project can connect its official identity with public Places and Events.
An organization and its events are different things
The organization's Brand record identifies who is responsible and points visitors toward official sources. A Place is where a gathering occurs. An Event is the particular food drive, community meeting, fundraiser, workshop, adoption event or public gathering. A volunteer group can use several locations over time without losing its identity between them.
Examples of useful public events
Community cleanups, neighborhood association meetings, fundraising concerts, library programs, animal-rescue adoption events, craft fairs, volunteer orientations and public educational sessions can all benefit from clearly connected event information.
For a multi-organization activity, identify the actual host, cooperating organizations, presenters and venue where that information is public and reliable. An organization mentioned on a flyer should not automatically be described as a sponsor or organizer unless the source says so.
What information helps people participate?
- Organization name, mission or purpose, official website, and approved logo.
- Event title, date, hours, venue and an official information or registration link.
- Whether the public may attend, and any stated eligibility, reservation or cost information.
- Public partners, presenters, performers and supporting organizations, with accurate role descriptions.
- A verifiable announcement or event flyer and updates if details change.
What the free directory does not do
A listing is not fundraising software, a donation processor, a volunteer-registration system or an endorsement from Minty Tees. Visitors should follow the organization's official links for donations, signups and other transactions. The directory's job is to reduce the dead ends between discovery and accurate public information.
There is no charge to list a Brand, Place or Event. You do not need to purchase merchandise or open an account just to send a public event or a correction.
How can community news reach more people?
Once the underlying records are accurate, public events can be found through event discovery. Selected community stories may also suit Minty Press, the site's editorial publication. Neither search-engine placement nor an editorial feature is guaranteed by a submission.
Share an organization, public event or correction →. The most helpful starting point is an official event page or flyer showing who, what, when and where.
How to participate
Request a free listing or submit an update →. Public Brand, Place and Event listings do not require an account or a purchase. They are public information, not endorsements, agency arrangements, ticketing relationships, or agreements to sell merchandise. Printing and other commercial services from Minty Tees are separate and optional.
