How to Find Karaoke, Live Music, DJs, and Local Events Near You

A practical guide to searching events by city, ZIP code and date, then checking the performer, venue and official information before going out.

Find your next night out: karaoke, live music and DJs. Browse local events by city or ZIP code.

Sometimes you know exactly who you want to see. Other times the plan is just “find something to do tonight.” Those are two very different searches, and an ordinary list of business names does not always connect the dots.

The Find Events page within the Minty Brand Ecosystem lets you start with the activity and the place instead of already knowing the performer or venue. The directory includes public karaoke, live music, DJs and other events as information becomes available.

Start with a city, ZIP code or day

Open Find Events. Search for an event, host or venue, then narrow the available listings by event type, city, ZIP code or day. The page also includes nearby-search tools and a way to share the results link.

For example, searching for Friday nightlife around Covina is different from searching for a particular band that may be appearing in another city. The directory supports both starting points when matching public records exist.

Go from the Event to the performer and venue

An Event may connect to a physical Place, such as a bar or restaurant, and to the Brands involved, such as a karaoke host, band, DJ, business or organization. When those records are connected, you can learn more about the people or location without starting another unrelated search.

If a performer hosts in several venues, begin with the Brand directory. If you already know the venue, browse its public profile for events and participants. If you only know what kind of night you're after, begin with the event filters.

Want a readable guide rather than a search tool?

Covina Nightlife: Karaoke, Live Music, DJs, and Local Nights Out is an example of Minty Press turning multiple public listings into one readable guide. It can help you get your bearings before choosing a particular night or venue.

Editorial guides and public directory listings serve different purposes. A guide offers context; a current Event record and official announcement are better places to confirm the particulars.

Check important details before heading out

Event times, lineups and locations can change. Check the official venue or host link before leaving, especially for recurring nights, holidays and one-time performances. Nearby distances on the discovery page are estimates based on ZIP-area centers, not driving directions.

You can browse without creating an account or buying anything. If you choose to Follow Brands or cities, a free account can remember those choices across visits; following is optional and is separate from signing up for promotional emails.

Found something missing or wrong?

Maybe your favorite karaoke night isn't listed, a band has changed venues, or a public flyer contains a new date. You can request a listing or send a correction even if you are not the business owner. Include a reliable public link or flyer so the information can be reviewed.
