About this song
Horror-movie novelty from Spike Jones' 1959 Warner Bros. album Spike Jones in Stereo (also known as A Spooktacular in Screaming Sound), a spoof of monster films. Recorded with his later group, the Band That Plays for Fun, rather than the original City Slickers.

Performance tips
- Treat it as a radio play: switch between monster voices and hammy announcer lines.
- Lean into the sound-effect gags and leave space for the crowd to laugh.
- Keep the tempo bouncy and the energy vaudeville-big.
