This theme includes bands whose official name contains a unit of measurement. • The unit must appear explicitly in the band’s official name • The unit must be a recognized measurement (scientific, mathematical, or commonly accepted) • Spelled-out and symbolic units are allowed • Singular and plural forms are allowed • Units may represent length, mass, time, volume, speed, temperature, energy, or similar • Numbers alone do not qualify without an explicit unit • Words that resemble measurements but are not actual units are excluded • The unit must be part of the credited band name, not a nickname or title • The band must have released music under that name
