1. Automatic title rule: A song qualifies if its title contains the standalone word "birthday" or "birthdays" (case-insensitive). This rule applies even when the word is metaphorical, idiomatic, dark, sexual, or non-celebratory. 2. Songs without "birthday" in the title qualify only when the song's central subject clearly fits at least one category: an actual birthday, birthday wish, birthday party, or birthday ritual; turning a stated age or marking the passage of years; reflection on aging or a life stage; or an explicit celebration/party song suitable for group participation. 3. Do not qualify a song merely because its title contains an age or number, uses a birthday-adjacent word such as cake, suit, party, or celebration in an unrelated sense, has a generally upbeat vibe, or appears on a birthday-related album. 4. Evidence must come from the title plus the song's lyrics or documented narrative. If the connection is uncertain, do not attach the theme; send the song to review.
