For Karaoke Hosts and DJs: Help People Find Your Next Gig

A guide for karaoke hosts and DJs who want public schedules connected to the venues they play, so regulars and new audiences can find them.

The question every working karaoke host or DJ hears is some version of, “Where are you playing this week?” The answer may be split among a Facebook flyer, a message thread, a venue post and an old profile bio. Even regulars can miss a schedule change.

A Minty Brand Ecosystem profile gives people another way to connect the performer, the venue and the public gig without having to see the one social post that announced it.

One performer, several rooms

For a host who works in more than one location, the distinction matters. The performer is a Brand. Each bar or restaurant is a Place. Every recurring night or one-time booking is an Event. Connect them correctly and the host's profile can point toward multiple venues, while each venue's information can lead visitors toward the people appearing there.

For example, KJ Neptune's public profile connects the host's identity with event listings for different Gardens Bar & Grill locations. The performer stays recognizable even as the venue changes.

Why this helps beyond your existing followers

Your regular singers already know your name. Someone looking for Friday karaoke in a particular city might not. The Find Events page supports browsing by city, ZIP code, date and other filters. A listing that correctly names its host and venue gives a visitor who starts with either one a path to the other.

This is discovery, not a promise of a bigger audience. Keeping dates and links accurate makes discovery useful when it happens.

What a KJ or DJ should send

  • Your public performer name, a short description, your official social or website links, and a photo you have permission to share.
  • The venue name, city and location for each residency or special appearance.
  • The weekday or date, start time, end time when known, and whether the engagement repeats.
  • A public flyer, official post, or venue announcement, plus changes and cancellations when they occur.

If you already have a profile, you can submit your next gig or a corrected venue link without creating another Brand page. If you manage the identity, the Claim this page option, where shown, can help establish who is authorized to update it.

What about DJ tools and merchandise?

The directory is not the same as the DJ Wonder Sean music-discovery project, nor is it a requirement to sell shirts. Those are different parts of the site. The directory itself is free. If you are also interested in custom crew gear, the separate karaoke-host services page explains that optional conversation.

Make the next announcement useful for longer than one scroll

When you announce a public gig, also send its date, time, venue and official source through the directory update form. The goal is simple: whether someone knows you or just knows the city, they should be able to find the right place to show up.

Submit your karaoke or DJ gigs → · Search current events →.

Send details without signing up for a sales program

The listing and update form accepts public listings, corrections and event flyers. Directory listings are free and no Brand account or purchase is required to supply updates. Inclusion does not mean Minty Tees represents, books, sponsors or sells tickets for anyone mentioned. Custom apparel and merchandise, if desired, are entirely separate and opt-in.
